  At the Institute of Radio Astronomy NASU, a computer cluster of power 680 gigaflops has been constructed for operation with the 64-bit digits. The cluster employs double dual-processor platforms Superserver 6015T-INFV, each possessing two processors Intel Xeon E5440. All cluster nodes, but the subcontrol one, have the Linux 2.6.25-gentoo-r7 operating system installed. Through fiber-optic channels, the cluster is connected with the Institute’s logical infrastructure, NASU’s grid network and the Internet. The cluster meets the requirements for a grid node of Tier-3 level as accepted in CERN terminology.

Operating system: Scientific Linux, ядро 2.6.18-53.1.4.el5
