Post-graduate degree courses

The Radio Astronomy Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine has postgraduate studies (training for higher education Ph.D. students)

specialty: 104 - Physics and astronomy;

Field of knowledge: 10 - Natural sciences.

Specialty Physics and Astronomy includes astrophysics, radio astronomy; radio physics; physics of devices, elements and systems; geophysics.

Duration of study - 4 years. 

Rules for application 

Persons who have received higher education of master's degree (specialist) are admitted to postgraduate studies on a competitive basis.

Postgraduate entrance exams consist of:

1. entrance examination in the specialty (in the scope of the program of higher education of master's degree).
2. entrance examination in a foreign language - English (to the extent corresponding to level B2 of the Common European Recommendations for Language Education).

An applicant who has confirmed his / her level of proficiency, in particular English, with a valid TOEFL test certificate, or International English Language Testing System, or Cambridge English Language Assessment certificate, is exempted from taking the entrance exam in a foreign language.
